HKU Visa Application
In 2021, Xenyo partnered with the University of Hong Kong to modernize their international student visa process by developing the HKU Visa Application system using Drupal, AWS, PHP, and AI. The project replaced overwhelming traditional immigration forms with an intuitive, transparent digital platform designed to simultaneously serve three distinct user groups. While students benefit from a clean, low-stress submission flow with clear visual feedback on their application status, the unified system also empowers faculty members to quickly verify permits and allows administrative staff to securely track high-stakes immigration updates in the backend.

Mapping the Application Journey
To navigate the complexities of immigration logic and multi-role approvals, we began by designing a comprehensive flow diagram. This visual blueprint illustrates exactly how a visa application progresses from initial submission to final approval. By breaking down the interactions between students, faculty, and administrative staff at every stage, we provided the client with a clear, shared understanding of the system's underlying mechanics before development began.
